Labneh Pomegranate Dip | GRF, V

If there was a contest for quickest, easiest, and tastiest appetizer – this would win. It is much more assembly then anything else. But it is so tasty and addicting and everyone will love you. Which is the goal when you are feeding people.

What I use

  • 1 cup labneh (or a good, thick, full fat greek yogurt)
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup pomegranates
  • 2 tsp za’atar spice blend
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts, lightly toasted
  • 1 bunch of fresh mint
  • Drizzle of pomegranate molasses
  • Zest of 1/2 lemon

What I do

  1. Fold together the ricotta, labneh (or yogurt), and lemon zest till completely mixed. Spread out evenly on your favourite serving dish (about 1 inch thick)
  2. Top with pomegranates, toasted pine nuts and za’atar
  3. Drizzle with pomegranate molasses (don’t go to heavy with this, 1-2 tsp is plenty. It is an intense flavor) and top with fresh mint leaves
  4. Serve with pita, crostini, or crackers

Voila! How easy was that??
